Our second stay here and it definitely lived up to our expectations from last time. We are 3 friends meeting up from 3 different parts of the UK. The car parking outside the hotel is perfect and adds to a stress free weekend away. We got a friendly welcome from the staff on arrival. Every member of the team are engaging, animated and super friendly. They are a credit to the venue and a bug part of why we came back. Each of us had a lovely hot drink and a breather after our 2 hour journeys. We then went off on our day, returning around 5pm to our room being ready. We had room 10 again which is perfect for 3 women of a certain age wanting a bed each! Comfy beds, gorgeous bedding, fluffy white towels and a massive bathroom! Chairs for each of us and FANTASTIC tea, coffee and hot chocolate station with gorgeous biscuits. There is even an iron and an ironing board....which we ALL stayed away from! We absolutely loved our stay, we will be sad to see Thalio restaurant closing, but excited for a new venture hopefully open in time for our next visit which we are already planning. Highly recommend the Falcon on every level for an enjoyable stay.
Brilliant location in the heart of Bridgenorth lower town. Our room was huge (although we didn't need two of the three beds!), bathroom was equally spacious with copious hot water and nice towels, tea and coffee facilities included hot chocolate and tasty biscuits. Service was 1st rate, as was breakfast the next morning. Highly recommended as a Bridgenorth base.
After speaking with Matt, c/o The Falcon Hotel, who was 'on the ball' with our reservation, my husband and I had a fantastic weekend break for our Silver Wedding Anniversary, from 07.11.25 - 09.11.2025. All staff were extremely professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them and the cottage in which we stayed was impeccable. For breakfast in the hotel, there was a great selection of juices, jams, yoghurts, croissants and cereals. Our cooked breakfasts were delicious, which saw us through to teatime. Accommodation is in the midst of all amenities, however, there was no loud noise and the ambience in the hotel was fantastic! We will definitely be back, hence 5* review. THANK YOU !! xx
The breakfast was excellent and location can’t be faulted. Great car parking too, and the staff were brilliant. Only real down side was the room. The bathroom felt very unwelcoming- a big room, needed some effort to make it feel cosier. Would also have been better to have the head board attached to the bed. But clean, comfortable and plenty of amenities.
Really warm welcome & equally welcoming hotel. Very well laid out too. I got a single room at extremely short notice, by short l mean within 5 minutes of closing, well impressed. My room was all that l required, was comfortable, with tea making facilities & lovely & warm. Again the shower was also a delight. English breakfast was really good & the chef couldn’t do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Many many thanks to all concerned
A very nice and friendly hotel / pub. Nice cozy room with all amenities and a lovely, yet small shower room. Lovely breakfast to kick the day off. The staff and management really went a step further than most, making themselves available when required and providing ample information. The town itself is lovely and the hotel is based very close to the famous local bridge. All in all, very happy with the outcome.
Really lovely stay at the falcon. Rooms are very clean, beds are comfy and rooms are of a generous size too The breakfast which was included was very good with a help yourself section for cereal, juice, jam croissants ect.. and the full English was very nice Only slight niggle was the TV signal was very poor in the room but this was in the bar aswell while the rugby was on Apart from that I'll stay again Many thanks to the staff and management
Lovely location. Rooms had everything and more needed for a stay. They were clean and warm. Breakfast was delicious and there was a good choice. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. Only negative is the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would definitely recommend this hotel.
